Alexander Coridass

President and CEO / Spokesman of the Management Board Show Details
After studying Law and Journalism in Mainz and Dijon (France), Alexander Coridass was in charge of copyright, international law and cable distribution in foreign countries in ZDF’s legal department from 1985 onwards. In 1991 he took over as Head of Program Sales. One year later he was appointed Head of Sales at ZDF Enterprises, and in 1998 he started working in his current capacity as President and CEO. Alexander Coridass lectures at a number of academies and universities, has a position on several supervisory boards and the advisory committees of various media enterprises. He is also a member of the International Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (Emmy Awards).

Stephan Adrian

Executive Vice President and CFO Show Details
Stephan Adrian studied law in Frankfurt am Main and began his professional career in 1983 in the Hessian Fiscal Administration. After completing his tax studies he was active at a major Frankfurt tax office as special field head for turnover tax and, later, for corporate income tax and government tax audits. During this time he also trained tax advisers as a sideline at a nonprofit private school. In July 1988, Stephan Adrian came to the ZDF as consultant to the Department of Taxes, Insurances and Social Insurance and has been the head of this department from 1st January 1993. Stephan Adrian is Executive Vice President and CFO of ZDF Enterprises since July 2007.

Fred Burcksen

Executive Vice President and COO Show Details
After attending the Pedagogische Academie in Dordrecht, the Netherlands, Fred Burcksen became a teacher at primary school in 1976 before beginning his sports studies at The Hague in 1979. From 1982 to 1986 he was Assistant Manager at Fastplay Promotions in Rotterdam, studying Psychology at the University of Amsterdam at the same time. In 1986 he was appointed Marketing Manager at Champion USA Sports and Leisure Wear, and in 1988 he became General Manager of Inter Football B.V. / Top Sports Licensing, responsible for sports marketing and television rights. In the year 1995 Fred Burcksen was appointed Senior Sales Manager at ZDF Enterprises and became Vice President Sales, Merchandising and Coproductions in 1998. He was announced Executive Vice President and COO in January 2013.

Markus Kroth

Vice President Finance and Authorized Signatory Show Details
Markus Kroth studied Economics in Mainz, and between the years 1990 and 1993 he had his first professional positions in the areas of accountancy, banking and management consultancy. In the year 1993 he joined ZDF Enterprises as Controller, promoted in 1998 to Head of Controlling and EDP, and in the year 2000 to Head of Controlling and Finances. Markus Kroth has been Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at ZDF Enterprises since 2001.

Sylvia Brucker

Vice President ZDFE.entertainment Show Details
After studying communication science, business administration and organizational psychology at the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität in Munich, Sylvia Brucker came to ZDF Enterprises in 1996 after stints at Bavaria Film and Bavaria Film Park as well as in the musical department of the Peter Rieger concert agency. As head of merchandising, she shared responsibility for the fields of licensing and merchandising, built up ZDF’s sales shop operation, and was in charge of video sales in the German-language territories. Beginning in 2006 she developed the firm’s international licensing and merchandising. She was appointed section head of the genre ZDFE.entertainment in January 2013.

Christine Denilauler

Vice President Marketing and Corporate Communications Show Details
After studying Business Management at the European Business School in Oestrich-Winkel, Christine Denilauler secured a position with Mothercare Europe in Watford, Great Britain, in 1986, working first as Management Trainee and then as Merchandise Supply Controller. In 1989 she moved to Diners Club Germany as Product Assistant and MIS Analyst, and in 1990 she was appointed Merchandising Manager with this company. From 1991 to 1995, as a member of the Category Management team at Wella AG Darmstadt, she was in charge of the international marketing activities for the company’s most important brands. In the year 1996 Christine Denilauler joined ZDF Enterprises as Sales Manager responsible for international distribution, and since 2002 she has been Director of Marketing and Corporate Communications.

Tobias Koenemann

Vice President Human Resources Show Details
Tobias Koenemann studied Law, Music, Theatre, Film and Television Studies and Philosophy at Cologne and Erlangen. From 1988 to 1992 he was Arts and Media Consultant with DAG headquarters in Hamburg, since 1990 he has also worked on a freelance basis as a lawyer in the media sector. In 1993 Tobias Koenemann joined ZDF as Assistant Lecturer Administration. Since 1994 he has been with ZDF Enterprises, initially as Legal Adviser and Coproduction Project Manager. In 1995 he took over as Head of the Legal and Contract Department, in the same year his management function was extended to cover the Personnel Department. From 1999 to 2001 he was founding General Manager of Kinderfilm GmbH in Erfurt. Tobias Koenemann has been focusing more strongly on his freelance work since March 2009, but remains active for ZDF Enterprises as Head of Personnel and Senior Jurist.

Peter Lang

Vice President ZDFE.junior Show Details
Following his Business Administration studies, Peter Lang was assistant to the management of ZDF Enterprises GmbH from 1994 to 1998. He was then responsible as project manager for the German Pay TV market. Since 1999 he has been head of the Merchandising division, which was expanded in 2004 through the addition of the business sector New Media. Moreover, Peter Lang was CEO of Krimitel GmbH & Co KG from 2001 to 2003, headed the ZDF.newmedia GmbH until 2004, and has been CEO of MPEG mbH & Co KG since 2004. In January 2012 he was appointed General Manager of Studio Hamburg Enterprises GmbH, and in January 2013 he was announced Vice President ZDFE.junior.

Volker Lehmann

Vice President Acquisitions and Coproductions Show Details
After studying Management Science and Literature in Hamburg and Paris, Volker Lehmann was in charge of acquisition and distribution projects in various international firms between 1988 and 1993. In 1993 he came to ZDF Enterprises as project manager for License Acquisitions of ZDF and the channels of the broadcasting group. In 1998 he assumed the direction of the business sector License Acquisitions. Volker Lehmann has been heading ZDF‘s Acquisitions and Coproductions since 2013.

Karoline Meichsner-Sertl

Vice President Legal Affairs Show Details
After studying law in Hamburg and Berlin, Karoline Meichsner-Sertl began her professional career in 1993 as a lawyer specializing in legal affairs at ARTE Deutschland before moving on to become head of acquisitions and rights at Degeto Film in 1995. From 2000 to 2002 she was deputy director of the legal department at EM.TV & Merchandising AG. In 2002 Meichsner-Sertl assumed the directorship of the Department of Strategy and Marketing at the Deutsche Welle and transferred in October 2006 to the Corporate Law Department, where her tasks included the responsibility for all legal matters concerning sales and new media. Karoline Meichsner-Sertl has been in charge of legal matters at ZDF Enterprises since March 2009.

Ralf Rückauer

Vice President ZDFE.factual Show Details
After studying Film and Television Sciences at the Ruhr University in Bochum, Ralf Rueckauer started out in his career in 1997 as Junior Creative Producer at Gemini/Colon Filmproduktion in Cologne. In 1999, Rueckauer moved to German pubcaster ZDF, where he worked in the channel's "Das kleine Fernsehspiel" department, heading up the format development lab "quantum". Rueckauer has worked for ZDF Enterprises since 2003, initially as Project Manager Distribution and Investments, with the focus on documentaries, and then as Sales Manager for German-speaking countries and Central and Eastern Europe. He has been appointed Head of Sales with effect of January 2012. In this role, Rückauer is responsible for the sales of full-length programming.

Kerstin Rupprecht

Vice President Material Logistics Show Details
After completing her European Secretarial training, Kerstin Rupprecht studied languages in Italy and France. She gathered her first professional experiences in the film industry in an agency for sales promotion in Bad Homburg as producer of training videos for the retail trade. As a member of the production management of 3sat/Musikkanal, Rupprecht was responsible for the supervision of the license acquisitions and commissioned productions beginning in January 1990. In August 1992 she switched to the field of program acquisition, coproduction and synchronization at ZDF. Rupprecht has been active in this field for ZDF Enterprises since 1993, and, as of January 1998, as head of broadcast and press material logistics. She was appointed department head of material coordination, synchronization and IT in January 2013.
