ZDF.archive is a universal archive containing around 2 million items taken from 300,000 program hours broadcast by ZDF over the last 40 years. The size of our collection makes ours the second largest archive of moving images in the world. We concentrate on the sectors Current Affairs + News, Entertainment, Science + History, Nature + Wildlife, Business + Economy and Travel + Destinations.
