Shift in Media Use
Next to the classical media, online and digital media play an ever-growing and far-reaching role among all generations. The shift in media use influences the way we communicate, the way we put together our entertainment, the sources from which we draw our information, as well as the creation and perception of programs and brands. Many domains of life thus shift into the "web" and intermingle there with "real life." Social media, games, music download and video on demand have established themselves as solid components of our daily life and our media consumption, whether mobile or at home.
Licensing
With its vast and attractive portfolio, ZDF Enterprises offers strong license brands for use on digital platforms and devices as well. This includes classical long-running TV programs of the ZDF broadcasting family and strong event programs as well as internationally successful youth series and high-quality documentaries.
In addition to the licensing of program brands and digital contents (multimedia modules, apps or theme- and program-specific websites a.o.) ZDF Enterprises also offers its partners the possibility of working together on the concept and production of projects in the field of new media. These could be service- or game apps for mobile devices as well as (online-) games for PC and console, web modules, microsites or complete internet presentations. Partnerships
For us, a partnership doesn't end with the licensing agreement. We guide and develop successful projects in the new media together with our partners by establishing a continuous flow of information, informing our partners of cooperation opportunities with third parties, bringing licensing partners together and working out marketing and promotional measures together.
