Upon the death of her adoptive parents, young Lena finds traces of her natural parents that lead her to the romantic Lake Garda in northern Italy. There she falls in love with the dashing and wealthy young Lukas, who helps Lena dig further into her past. Yet the more she finds out, the more she is horrified by the dark secrets that now begin to threaten her love, her future with Lukas, and her life.
