In June 2011, when free-climbing pros Alexander and Thomas Huber set their sights on scaling an extremely steep wall on the fabled Karma route in Austria, ZDF documented the brothers’ demanding preparations and heart-pounding ascent. Moreover, for the first time ever, ZDF shot the film not only in HD, but also in 2D and 3D – a first! Expertly captured by an interplay of eight different camera systems, their heart-stopping climb is “exciting in 2D, and smashing in 3D” (director Jens Monath).
