In the first episode of this exciting series, best selling author and Grail researcher Janice Bennett investigates whether a chalice in the Cathedral of Valencia, Spain, might be the legendary Holy Grail. It is guarded by a brotherhood of Holy Knights who have sworn to protect it with their lives. Following a trail hidden within a 12th century grail legend she follows the clues to a mountain top monastery in the Pyrenees, where the chalice may have been kept, and finds a Nazi conspiracy to create a new religion based on the occult. Also in this episode academic Nick Howarth finds a mysterious symbol in an ancient map in Oxford University that suggests the location of the original lost labyrinth of the Minotaur. On the Greek island of Crete, Nick tracks it down, but is stopped by the Greek Military. It was used by the Nazi’s to store ammunition. The risk from unexploded bombs and earthquakes makes it too dangerous to explore. But searching for evidence of other labyrinths Nick finds an alter still used for ritual sacrifice, in the bowels of a huge and eerie cave.
