Hallgrim witnesses an argument between a Norwegian businesswoman and a Danish biker at the hotel where he is staying.
Later that night the woman’s body is discovered behind the hotel. As she owns a finance company of dubious repute which operates all over Scandinavia and collects debts using people from biker circles the case is given to the new office for organized transfrontier crime.
With the help of Michael and his hardware, Frandsen reveals that the Norwegian woman, Sigrid, was masterminding a billion kroner fraud and was on her way to a tax haven. Was the hit commissioned to prevent her flight?
