The police have impounded enough enriched uranium to blow up Copenhagen. Marie is worried; she thinks the case should be transferred to Police Intelligence being a matter of national security, but Thea completely disagrees: it’s a perfect case for her new office for organized transfrontier crime and Thea is not giving anything away. Frandsen is worried, too: did finding the uranium give him any radiation?
Hallgrim goes to see the Russian hit man Sergei in prison to offer him a deal: If he tells the police whom the uranium was meant for, he can go back to Russia to serve his sentence there. Sergei accepts.
