Black holes are seen as either as the wrecker’s ball of the universe – or as the linchpin of cosmic history. They show us how the universe came to be and how it will end one day. Yet many questions about their significance in the cosmos are still unanswered. “Black Hole” documents new methods of observation which help us better understand this situation. A research satellite is launched into space at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in order to seek answers to one of astrophysics’ biggest questions.
