In 1494, Christopher Columbus made a second journey to the Americas, this time with more ships, more men and a grander mission. His goal was to build the first European colony in the New World. But in just a few years, the settlement named La Isabela on Hispaniola Island in the Carribean would perish – one-fifth of its inhabitants dead and at least six ships sunk. What happened remains a mystery even today. Now, two teams of archaeologists journey to uncover the reason of La Isabela’s failure…
